Malou is member of FIL-AM since 2002. She is 50 years old and is married with two lovely daughters. She currently works in the accounts receivable/credit/collection department in a flower company in California, USA. She graduated in high school and in college from Holy Angel University from the Philippines.
Wendy Abon-Thrower was born, grew up, and was educated in Tarlac, Philippines. She became conventions coordinator and marketing professional for private club and resorts in Manila and Baguio. In 1991, she moved to California, and was soon hired by the Guest Services Department of the world renowned La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad. She now works as a team member of the Global Supply Chain of a large chemical manufacturing company. She is happily married and the mother of two sons, Earl and Jerich, both graduates of the University of California, Berkeley and Sta. Cruz
Wendy joined the Filipino National Association of San Diego in 1993 to help foster better understanding, friendship, and cooperation between the Filipino and greater American communities. In 2004 Wendy was honored and crowned Mrs. Filipino National of San Diego. She also became a member of the Filipino - American Cultural Association of North San Diego County in 2006 to encourage a more politically active and unified Filipino-American community. In 2008, Congressman Bob Filner representing California’s 51st District awarded Wendy a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for her outstanding community work.
She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of both the Filipino - American Cultural Association of North San Diego County and the Filipino National Association of San Diego. She also finds time to be an active volunteer for the Lions Club International (Oceanside Chapter) since 2006.

Mely, as fondly called by her friends, is a very energetic and die-hard member of FIL-AM for 25 years (1975) . She is a resident of Oceanside, California since 1961. She is 71 years old who loves to dance. She is happily married for 50 years, for which she is blessed with 6 children, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grand children. Before she retired, she used to work as instructional aide at Pacific Elementary School in California, USA.
She is also involved with Mother of Perpetual Help Group Prayer in San Luis Rey and is a volunteer at San Luis Rey Police Resource Center in Oceanside, California, USA.
She went to Mira Costa College in California and has a full-time bookkeeping certificate. She has a B.A. degree in Business.
