On a bright sunny day of Sept. 9th, FACOs’s Annual Summer Picnic was held at the Luiseno Park along Vandegrift Boulevard and Douglas Drive in Oceanside, California. The picnic was well attended and there were loads of fun and good food for everyone to enjoy. Games and prizes for kids and adults added amusement to the day, not to mention the raffle prizes that one may take home. In a show of their active involvement in the community, Sgt. Kedrick Sadler sent his Oceanside Police Neighborhood Policing Team represented by Officer Adam Stingley and Officer Gabriel Cobian to join this get-together. The Tagalog Class students also made a very impressive presentation to the delight of the audience. It was also the time for members to renew their membership and for the association to recruit new members and interested ones to join their program like the cultural dance group and Tagalog class. Everyone had a great time! It was a picnic full of fun and warm camaraderie among members and fellow Fil-Am’s!
